By downloading, installing, or using Codeply (the desktop app, the dashboard, or this website), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

The service

Codeply is a desktop overlay that uses AI to help place code into the right file and location in your project. It's provided as-is, and we're actively changing and improving it, features, limits, and behavior can change.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in access secure and for anything that happens under your account. Give us an email you actually check, and let us know if you think someone else has access to your account.

Acceptable use

• Don't try to circumvent usage limits (shared quotas exist so the service stays usable for everyone).
• Don't attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the underlying AI backend.
• Don't use Codeply for anything illegal, or to generate or place code you don't have the right to use.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your code

You own your code. Nothing about using Codeply changes that. Using the service means giving us permission to transmit the relevant file content and your instructions to our AI backend solely to generate and apply the edit you asked for, that's it.

AI-generated suggestions

Codeply's edits are generated by third-party AI models and can be wrong, incomplete, or not what you meant. Review every change before you rely on it, especially anything touching security, payments, or production systems. You're responsible for what you ship.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Whop. Pricing, billing cycles, and refunds are handled per Whop's own process at checkout. You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future billing but doesn't retroactively refund the current period unless Whop's policy says otherwise.

No warranty

Codeply is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codeply isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including code changes applied incorrectly.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Codeply after a change means you accept the updated terms.
